A few years ago, I read a book with my children for a homeschool unit study that we pursued during the last four years of my son’s school years. That study continues on even though he graduated over 4 years ago.

I know, I know.

It was a study that took on a life of its own. It began with a simple biography about a great businessman. We continued through as many biographies as we could find. We STILL pursue these studies even though my son graduated almost 4 years ago!

Wondering “Just WHAT on earth the Writer’s Nook is all about??”

Great question! I have been writing for 17 years. I am not old, in case you are wondering! Actually, my earliest memories of writing were when I was two, I just did not consider myself to be a “writer” until that sweet day when my husband’s grandmother challenged me to “write” for our local newspaper. I still remember that uncertainty in my gut. I remember putting my whole heart into that first article. It was a risk. It was a step toward a dream that I had put aside for many, many years due to obstacles and hindrances all along the way.

Writer’s Nook is here to encourage, inspire, and equip you. I want to see you step up to the call to write. I want to see you write for God’s glory. I want to help you overcome the obstacles and hindrances that are blocking you from your dream. My prayer is that we can come alongside of you and make it easy.
