Wondering “Just WHAT on earth the Writer’s Nook is all about??”

Great question! I have been writing for 18 years. I am not old, in case you are wondering! Actually, my earliest memories of writing were when I was two, I just did not consider myself to be a “writer” until that sweet day when my husband’s grandmother challenged me to “write” for our local newspaper. I still remember that uncertainty in my gut. I remember putting my whole heart into that first article. It was a risk. It was a step toward a dream that I had put aside for many, many years due to obstacles and hindrances all along the way.

Writer’s Nook is here to encourage, inspire, and equip you. I want to see you step up to the call to write. I want to see you write for God’s glory. I want to help you overcome the obstacles and hindrances that are blocking you from your dream. My prayer is that we can come alongside of you and make it easy.

So, welcome to YOUR nook! Welcome to the place where you can find friends to walk with you along your journey and help you all along the way. This is YOUR nook–the Writer’s Nook! Enjoy!

Ok! I bit the bullet and finally decided on the format for this website.

This site will be forever growing and expanding. I am so excited about all of the things on the horizon!

It is finally the right time to move forward with the call to share those little things that make writing so much easier and that make success possible for all who will step up to the call.

Right time? Yes. The right time for a dream I have shoved back for “later” when I could find time…or KNOW it was “God’s Will” (in that SLAP ME HARD GOD type of knowledge!).

I have had a dream for a while to connect writers together AND help those who really had important messages to take the plunge, knowing all of the options that can really make writing as a profession EASY! Well…this is IT!

The Writer’s Nook! A completely separate website here JUST FOR WRITERS. This can be YOUR nook to be refreshed and inspired…educated and challenged…befriended and to be a friend. I am taking the plunge here, but I think that you will find that this is not about me…but rather about YOU. I want to see YOU become all that God desires for you to become. Prayerfully the articles, tips, and chat here will help you to do just that.

Ready? Well, I will be posting some goodies that have been dormant in my database. I also plan to share updates regularly with tips and ebooks and resources that we recommend for the Christian Writer. This is going to be SOooo fun! A nook just for WRITERS!
